Learn to Combat Stress with Mindfulness & Prioritise your own Wellbeing
If you would like to develop your own mindfulness practice you may be interested in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course for Educators scheduled to take place in Drumcondra Education Centre.
The programme consists of eight weekly classes and a one day retreat. The course is experiential, supportive and structured. It is designed for educators only, both primary and post primary. Participating in the stress reduction programme requires commitment on your part so that you can, learn, practice and integrate mindfulness and wellness into your everyday life.
The course runs through spring, 2018 from 7.00-9.00pm, with a week off for midterm; beginning Thursday 1st February with the final session on the 22nd March, costing €320 to include handbook, audios along with tea and coffees each evening.
On completion you will receive a certificate of qualification in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction which is an entry requirement should you decide to opt for further training as a mindfulness teacher or become a trained .b or Paws facilitator which enables you to successfully integrate mindfulness into your school’s curriculum.
Kay is a qualified practicing teacher, holds a 1st Class Masters Degree in Mindfulness; she is fully certified and affiliated to the Mindfulness Association and adheres to the good practice guidelines.
