Target Audience: Primary & Special School Principals, Teachers & SNAs who will be working on/considering working on the SEN Summer Programme in 2023
This is not training for the DEIS Literacy & Numeracy Summer camps. Further info on these camps can be found by contacting Navan/Dublin West Education Support Centres
The theme of the Summer Programme for Primary and Special Schools 2023 is ‘Building Confidence and Connections’. This training event will support the school staff to have a greater understanding of the guiding principles of the Summer Programme.
The training event will highlight practical resources and strategies that will support school staff in planning for a playful, engaging and successful experience for children and young people participating in the Summer Programme.
The training event will be hosted live online via Zoom and will run for 90 minutes. It will be facilitated by a NEPS Psychologist and two NCSE Advisors. The presentation will be followed by a live Q & A.
Attendees will have access to a NCSE Padlet with accompanying resources and links to support the delivery of the Summer Programme.
