Unique post graduate opportunities for teachers to study Global Citizenship Education

During the Olympics, we witnessed the very best of human nature through a celebration of diversity, dignity, harmony and human effort. After the celebrations, the challenges for our society remain through war, racism, the rise of the far right, a severe abuse of human rights, climate change and biodiversity loss. Sustainability and Global Citizenship issues are central in curricular reforms at earlay childhood, primary and post primary education, the introduction of a new Leaving Certificate Subject, Climate Action and Sustainable Development being a case in point.

A full-time or part-time blended M.Ed. in Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship is available in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. There are some places left for September 2024.

Note: it is possible to complete the course on a full-time basis over the course of 1 year while teaching.
