We are thrilled to announce the launch of FutureNeuro’s brand-new art Competition,”My Unique Brain”, and we would love for you and DCU Ignite to join us in spreading the word about this exciting initiative.
What is “My Unique Brain”? This competition invites children and young people across Ireland to explore and showcase what makes their brain special. Whether through drawing, painting, collage, or prints, participants are encouraged to use their creativity to celebrate everything that makes their brain unique.
Why Participate?
- Inspire Creativity: A wonderful opportunity for young minds to express themselves.
- Raise Awareness: Help promote understanding and acceptance of neurological diversity.
- Fantastic Prizes: Up for grabs are vouchers worth up to €150! Selected artworks may also be featured in a special publication and displayed at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Background: This initiative builds on the success of our “Head with Harmony” event held last September. Led by Colette Delahunt, a professional soprano singer and member of our Patient Involvement Panel, the event combined music and science to highlight the importance of diagnosing neurological conditions and involving patients in the research process. Funds raised from this memorable evening have made the “My Unique Brain” competition possible.
